In 2010 I began to pursue my career as a Disc Jockey. For the first few years of my career, I played only to gain experience, entertaining for free to hone my skill in the craft to compete with the pros. After a year I decided to brand myself"The Explosive DJ C4" where I began entertaining at much bigger events and competed for the first time in the Heineken Green Synergy Tournament. In 2012 I realized that to be a DJ it was somewhat necessary to own a sound system/ HIFI as it was seen as a better package for promoters not wanting pay separately. There I began building DJC4 SoundSystem. Being small and unknown most of my bookings started off in my community, I also hosted a few events of my own. The SoundSystem struggled due to competition from other established businesses. Later that year I got a job as a radio DJ on Hot FM. There I became more known to the public and bookings started picking up with SoundSystem as my skills improved working alongside some of my mentors. Later that year I moved on to work at Blazin FM where opportunities to showcase my talents seemed endless. For the next few years I focused on expanding DJC4 SoundSystem and competed as a finalist in the The Heineken Green Synergy Tournament until 2017 . The business began to grow as clients started booking for bigger events.I now had a team who carried my brand name with integrity. In 2018 we played our first Jouvé and Carnival, one of the major highlights in our portfolio. Between 2017 and 2021 we have expanded our services, offering Graphic Designs and photography among other new services, hence the brand upgrade to DJC4 SoundSystem Plus. We looking forward to 10 more years of the best quality we can give.
